ジェフ・マクフェトリッジ
1971年 カナダ生まれ。
アーティスト・デザイナーとしてロサンゼルスを拠点に活動。独特な遠近法や無駄を省いた繊細なラインで描かれるシンプルなグラフィックにメッセージや風刺を込める作風で、世界中に多くのファンを持つ。これまでデンマーク、スウエーデン、ドイツ、フランス、イギリス、オランダ、アメリカ、カナダ、日本など世界各地で個展を開催。2004年より世界中を巡回したアーロン・ローズの企画展「Beautiful Losers」展にも参加。2016年にはクーパーヒューイット・スミソニアン・ナショナル・デザイン賞を受賞、2019年にはAIGAメダルを授与された。
GEOFF MCFETRIDGE
Born in Canada in 1971.
Living and working in Los Angeles California. McFetridge creates graphic images in fine lines and bold colors with repetition, perspective, and simplicity. Transcending creative boundaries, McFetridge is a multidisciplinary artist working across poetry, animation, sculpture, textile and painting. He has held solo exhibitions in Denmark, Sweden, Germany, France, United Kingdom, Netherlands, Japan, Canada and USA. He also participated in Aaron Rose's exhibition "Beautiful Losers" which toured around the world since 2004. McFetridge is the winner of the 2016 Cooper-Hewitt Smithsonian National Design Award and was awarded The AIGA Medal in 2019.
