cassetteでは2024年9月19日（木）より、アーティスト・長場雄による個展「SLOPPY PARADISE」を開催いたします。
2015年より本格的なアーティスト活動をスタートした長はこれまで国内外で多くの作品を発表してきました。
少ない情報から豊かな表現を生み出す繊細なラインはそのままに、毎回テーマを持って少しずつ作品にアップデートを加えている長場は、今回の展示タイトルにもなっている「Sloppy Paradise（不完全な楽園）」というテーマを通して作品制作を行いました。室内風景に人物を配置した構図を中心とした今回の作品群は、不完全であるがゆえに楽園であるという作家の世界にたいする視座を指し示すようでもあります。
2024年9月2周年を迎えるcassetteにて新作30点以上で構成される本展覧会を是非ご高覧下さい。
私は「Sloppy Paradise （不完全な楽園）」というタイトルを通して、完璧でないからこそ魅力的な世界を描きたかったのです。日常の中にひっそりと存在するさりげない瞬間や、無秩序の中に宿る美しさ、雑然とした風景に潜む、私たちが見逃しがちな心地よさや安心感のある楽園を。

cassette is pleased to present “SLOPPY PARADISE,” a solo exhibition by Yu Nagaba, starting from September 19, 2024 (Thursday).
Naga, who began his artist career in 2015, has presented many works in Japan and abroad.
While maintaining the delicate lines that create rich expressions from little information, Nagaba, who gradually updates his works with a theme each time, created his works under the theme of “Sloppy Paradise” (imperfect paradise), which is also the title of this exhibition. The works in this exhibition, which are mainly composed of indoor landscapes with human figures, seem to point to the artist's perspective on the world, which is a paradise because of its imperfection.
cassette celebrate its second anniversary in September 2024. We invite you to view this special exhibition consists over 30 new body of works.
"Through the title “Sloppy Paradise” I wanted to depict a world that is fascinating because it is not perfect. I wanted to depict a paradise with a sense of comfort and security that we tend to miss in the casual moments of daily life, the beauty that resides in disorder, and the cluttered landscape"

Yu Nagaba
Nagaba is known for his works drawn only with simple lines. In addition to presenting his work in Japan and abroad and participating in art fairs as an artist, he is also active in advertising and collaborating with apparel brands.
