Ly

“I HATE DIK”, there are many DIK in Ly’s paintings. DIK symbolizes “taboo, discomfort, discrimination, hate and things you cannot see nor say”. Ly HATEs these negative elements, so that she throws them in to her canvas. At the same time, she paints them with a little bit of hope and mercy, and you will see her sexuality, life-or-death issues in her black and white world. For Ly, there is no border between black and white. Across gender, beyond limits, Ly’s world shapes of a cute and dangerous monster.
